## County Arcade, Leeds
In 1900, the Ceylon Café opened in County Arcade, offering tea, an orchestra, and games like chess and draughts. Designed by Frank Matcham, the arcade features pink Siena marble columns and ornate wrought-iron balustrades. Restored in the 1990s, it now houses luxury boutiques such as Harvey Nichols, Louis Vuitton, and Bulgari. (anarcadesproject.org)
