## Former West Bay Railway Station
In 1884, the Great Western Railway extended the Bridport Railway to West Bay Harbour, naming the new terminus "West Bay" to attract holidaymakers. Passenger services ceased in 1930, and freight operations continued until 1962. The station building, restored in 1995, now houses the Platform Restaurant, with a short section of track preserved at the platform. Visitors can also walk along the former trackbed from West Bay into Bridport. (en.wikipedia.org)
