The facade of Her Majesty’s Theatre remains largely intact in both images, with the same intricate architectural detailing, window arrangements, and decorative features on the upper floors. The most notable visible change is the addition of clear signage reading "HER MAJESTY'S THEATRE" above the ground-level arcade, which is absent in the older photo. The ground floor canopy appears similar in shape but features modern materials and updated glass or roofing elements today. In the older image, tall cast iron posts and a horse-drawn vehicle dominate the street scene, whereas the modern photo shows contemporary streetlamps, a hanging flower basket, and pedestrians in casual attire. The street surface has also changed, with a smoother and cleaner pavement now replacing what looks like cobbled or rougher ground in the historic view.
