## Wardown House Museum and Gallery
In 1879, solicitor Frank Chapman-Scargill invested £10,000 to rebuild Wardown House, a Victorian mansion in Luton, Bedfordshire. The house later served as a military hospital during World War I before becoming Luton Museum in 1931. In 2017, following a £3.5 million redevelopment, the museum reopened with interactive exhibits that recreate the atmosphere of a late-19th-century home, allowing visitors to explore period rooms and engage with the town's history.
