## Priory Gatehouse, Great Malvern
Constructed around 1480, the Priory Gatehouse in Great Malvern served as the main entrance to the Benedictine priory. Following the dissolution of the monasteries in 1539, it was among the few monastic structures to survive, thanks to its conversion into a parish church. In the late 16th century, the gatehouse was extended with red Tudor brickwork and mullioned windows, reflecting the architectural style of the period. Over time, it has been repurposed for various uses, including as offices and a venue for the Malvern Police Court. Today, it houses the Malvern Museum, offering insights into the town's rich history.
